Serena’s free-spirited personality and smile were contagious as she effortlessly joked around with other children. She is the opposite of shy and is a fun person to be around. She describes herself as outgoing, a social butterfly and funny. What makes Serena so special is her ability to just be a kid and find joy in the simple things in life. Serena loved playing guitar hero and jumped and yelled out in jubilant excitement when she got a good score. The Play! Exhibition seemed to allow Serena to reminisce on her childhood and helped her focus on the good times she had as a younger child. She engaged the younger kids in hand clapping games and seemed to effortlessly spread her positivity with everyone around her. Serena hopes to find a family who will love her unconditionally and doesn’t expect her to be perfect all the time. She says she will happily do the same with any family who adopts her. Serena needs a family that will continue to nourish her sense of humor and positive outlook in life, because a Family That Plays Together Stays Together!
