Jeremiah (17)
Jeremiah (born July 2007) is a fighter! Jeremiah suffered an accident which caused severe injuries and left him in a persistent vegetative state. Jeremiah can blink his eyes when awake, and he seems to respond positively to lively cartoons on the television. Jeremiah is exposed to daily stimulation via music and toys, as well as via touch in the form of hand-over-hand activities.
Jeremiah’s medical issues impair his ability to interact and he is dependent on a trachea and gastrostomy feeding tube. If you can picture your family and home being the kind of setting that Jeremiah could depend on as well, please do not hesitate in letting us know. Jeremiah deserves a permanent home and family to meet his needs.
