Gianna [b. January 2010] is a quiet and smart girl who does well socially and gets along with others. She enjoys sports and plays basketball at a Boys and Girls Club after school, hoping to make her way onto a school basketball team. Gianna is also creative and likes to make jewelry. She is doing well academically and her grades are above average. She is independently completing her homework and school projects, as well as her household chores. Gianna is starting to set goals as to what she wants to achieve in life – knowing that she plans on going to college, and weighing the option of pursuing social work and possibly becoming a therapist.
Lesean [b. April 2014] is a playful lad who enjoys having fun. Lesean likes being active and doing things outside in the fresh air, like playing soccer or going to the park to play. For indoor activities, Lesean likes doing artwork or reading. Lesean is experiencing some difficulty with following rules in placement and in school and he is receiving assistance to help better cope with adjustments and feelings of frustration. When it comes to his future, Lesean wants “to be successful, to have a job, to be an artist, and be prepared as an adult (to)…be happy.”
Gianna and Lesean deserve an adoptive family to love them unconditionally, to guide them along life’s highway, and to support them in keeping a relationship with their older sister. If you can envision your family’s journey including Gianna and Lesean, please let us know! We await helping Gianna and Lesean find a new dawn with the right forever family!
